How we work
From first conversation to finished garden
We keep the design, practical details, budget and construction joined up from the start.
- Clear scope and quotation
- One coordinated team
- Practical aftercare guidance

Planned around your garden
Every project starts with careful planning
No two gardens have the same levels, access, ground conditions or priorities. An initial conversation and site visit help us understand what the project needs and where careful planning will have the most impact.
For a complete transformation, we manage the design, groundwork, construction and finishing as one coordinated project. For more focused improvements, we give the same attention to how the new work fits with the house and the rest of the garden.
You will deal with the same experienced team throughout. We keep the project organised, keep you informed as the work progresses and coordinate qualified specialists where needed.
A straightforward project journey
Four stages from initial ideas to completion
The exact detail varies with the size and complexity of the work, but these stages keep decisions and construction in a sensible order.
Conversation and site visit
We discuss how you want to use the space, your priorities and likely scope, then assess access, levels, drainage and existing features.
Ideas, design and quotation
Where design is needed, the layout and details are developed before the proposed work, materials and costs are set out clearly.
Preparation and construction
The site is organised and the garden is built in a planned sequence, from excavation and foundations through to the visible finishes.
Completion and aftercare
Final details are completed, the working area is cleared and we explain any care or maintenance relevant to the new garden.
Getting the details right
What we consider before work begins
The right decisions at the start help create a garden that looks good, works well and stands the test of time.

- Existing levels and ground conditions
- Drainage and water movement
- Features worth retaining

- Long-term upkeep and maintenance

Rob and his team have completed this week a complete transformation on one side of my back garden. Extending my patio they did over 10 years ago into an L shape with new sleepers for planting. New fencing and side gate also. It's perfection in every aspect. The design work is excellence.
A very friendly team.
Thank you Rob for creating such an amazing garden in Stockport.
Rob,
This is just to say a huge thank you for agreeing to take on such a difficult project.
It is really very much appreciated, and is a massive improvement and transformation from the previous mess.
Many many thanks
Dear Rob,
Nadine and I would like to place on record our complete satisfaction for all the work you have done for us over recent years. You have transformed the appearance at the front and turned the rear garden into somewhere that is relaxing to both sit and work in. We can't think of anything more we could ask you to do, unless we move house.
